The New England Patriots were out scored 30-0 since halftime of their game against the Miami Dolphins and Devin McCourty had seen just about enough of that against the Minnesota Vikings.

It’s one thing to lose to the Miami Dolphins and go 0-1 on the season but it’s another thing to go 0-2 on the season by losing on the road to the Minnesota Vikings. After the Vikings got through the Patriots defense on their first drive of the game, McCourty ended the second by intercepting Matt Cassel and nearly bringing it back for a touchdown.
The Patriots are in danger of losing their second game of the season and starting 0-2, which is something that just doesn’t happen. The Vikings are an upstart team, but they’re still not really that good and have no Adrian Peterson this Sunday, which means that if New England loses this game they may be in serious trouble.
McCourty nearly scored a touchdown, but the Patriots are hoping that’s the only thing they nearly miss on this Sunday.
