The NFL has been embroiled in controversy for a week following the release of the video showing former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice assaulting his then-fiancee. Then there was the child abuse allegations involving Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t great stories out there involving the NFL. The Cincinnati Bengals have kept Devon Stills around on their practice squad and signed them to their 53-man roster days ago. Stills is playing and more importantly needs to play for the insurance benefits to support his daughter and her cancer treatment process.
The Bengals even put Still’s jersey on sale and with the proceeds going to research and New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton bought 100 of them. ESPN aired a touching segment about Still and his daughter on ESPN and you can watch it below.
