World Cup Final: United States vs. Serbia
The World Cup Final is this afternoon in Madrid and it features only one of the two teams we thought we’d see in the big game. Spain went down against France earlier in the week in the World Cup quarterfinals but France then went down against Serbia in the semifinal round.

This has started a sort of Cinderella run by the Serbs who find themselves now in the World Cup Final against the best team in the world. Team USA reads like an All-Star reserve team and they’ve been playing that way all tournament long. From Anthony Davis lighting it up, to Derrick Rose showing flashes while Rudy Gay plays the leader role, it hasn’t been a pretty ride the whole way but the United States is just one win away from another World Cup title.
