The NFL is receiving an incredible amount of backlash for their handling of the domestic violence case surrounding former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice. The group UltraViolet decided to fly a banner calling for Roger Goodell to be removed as NFL Commissioner above MetLife Stadium, which was hosting a game between the Arizona Cardinals and the New York Giants.

Erik Matuszewski of Bloomberg writes the following about the banners:

"The planes are scheduled to fly for two hours above each facility prior to the no-fly security restrictions that begin one hour before game time. One plane will fly over MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, before the New York Giants’ game against the Arizona Cardinals. Banners will also be displayed above stadiums in Cleveland and San Francisco, along with one ahead of the Monday night NFL game in Indianapolis."

They did indeed fly a banner over the stadium, and Eric Kay tweet out a photo of the play over the stadium.
