Peyton Manning is a notorious perfectionist. Apparently, four touchdowns in two games for a tight end isn’t good enough. The camera man caught Manning yelling his gigantic head off at Julius Thomas, who already has a touchdown catch today against the Kansas City Chiefs.

What was he losing his Papa Johns pepperonis over? Due to the hand gestures, it seems the disagreement was over a route, as quarterbacks and receivers often discuss.
This is what I imagine happened:
Manning: “Julius, what in the name of Archie were you doing?”
Thomas: “I ran the route you told me to!”
Manning: “Did you hear me call the orange barrel reroute, or nah?!”
Thomas: “When did you say that?”
Manning: Before the 31st and 32nd audible, you idiot!”
Thomas: “…. [walks away]”
It seems as if Manning was right to be so intense. After leaving the field, the Chiefs took over possession and scored to bring the game to 21-17 on a Knile Davis four-yard run.
With about 7 minutes left, Manning is 19-of-24 passing with 220 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Thomas has four catches for 39 yards and a score. In the Bronco’s Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts, Thomas caught seven balls for 104 yards and three touchdowns.
