The Washington Redskins got bit by the injury bug hard on Sunday. First, quarterback Robert Griffin III went down with an injury and was carted off the field.

Then wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who was the spring’s big free agent signing, went down with an injury.

The injury to Jackson was specifically to his shoulder.

Ultimately, Jackson wouldn’t return to the field suggesting a serious injury. Additionally Griffin won’t return, though looking at his injury live that appeared to be a certainty despite initially being listed as “questionable to return.”
