Report: Vikings have ruled out releasing Adrian Peterson

The Minnesota Vikings find themselves in the middle of a scandal involving running back Adrian Peterson, who was arrested after turning himself in because of child abuse charges. The Vikings deactivated Peterson for their game Sunday while the NFL figures out how they’re going to punish Peterson.

Releasing Peterson is always an option for the Vikings, and would save them a considerable amount of cash, but the Vikings leadership isn’t even considering that according to a report.
