Robert Griffin III went down with an injury on Sunday afternoon, as the Washington Redskins went on to blowout the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Griffin suffered an obvious ankle injury in the first quarter of the game, but there was no official word on the exact injury.
Washington head coach Jay Gruden confirmed after the game that Robert Griffin III suffered a dislocated ankle during the game.
Gruden: @RGIII has a dislocated ankle; will undergo more tests tomorrow. Does not know length of time he will miss as of today.

That will keep Griffin on the sidelines for an extended period of time, if not for the remainder of the season.
The good news for Washington, however, is that Kirk Cousins came into the game and played extremely well. It will be interesting to see what happens moving forward if Cousins continues to impress.
It is important to note that Cousins did ball out against the Jaguars, so we will have to see a stiffer test before naming him the Washington savior.
