Up 27-21 in the fourth quarter, the San Diego Chargers were driving when they handed the ball off to running back Ryan Matthews. Matthews immediately fumbled the ball and remained down on the ground. He injured his right knee of the play and was carted off the field.

Matthews finished the game with 12 carries for 31 yards as the Chargers led the Seahawks during the drive. Philip Rivers and the team were getting it done through the air. The Chargers recovered the fumble but ended up punting.
San Diego leads 27-21 with about 10 minutes left to play.
