Carolina Panthers not considering releasing Greg Hardy
By Josh Hill
The NFL is in the midst of an abuse epidemic and it’s not one that has just recently come about. The league has been dealing with abuse in a passive way in the past but recently there has been massive push-back to get stricter punishment against those who lay hands on women and children in an aggressive manner.

Greg Hardy very much laid hands on his ex-girlfriend in an aggressive manner as he was found guilty of doing as much this past summer. But despite that, the Panthers have yet really do anything about Hardy and that’s a problem.
They allowed him to play Week 1 but deactivated him for Week 2 against the Detroit Lions and are now in the process of figuring out proper punishment. According to Albert Breer from NFL Network though, the Panthers will not be releasing Hardy anytime soon.
Unlike Adrian Peterson, who was also deactivated on Sunday for abuse, Hardy was found guilty where as Peterson was just indicted. how the NFL or the Panthers haven’t done anything about Hardy yet is beyond anyone but the information gathering will occur this week and a suspension is more than likely if for nothing other than to save face on another botched domestic abuse situation in the NFL.
