Veteran big man Ryan Hollins has been connected to several teams, including the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and world champion San Antonio Spurs.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

As Eric Pincus of The Los Angeles Times reports, the Lakers are also interested in Hollins.

"The Lakers have considered adding on Ryan Hollins — according to the free agent center, who visited the “Bottom Line Sports Show” over the weekend. As tweeted by Sirius/XM NBA Radio, Hollins said, “he’s been in talks with the [Miami] Heat, [Sacramento] Kings, [Chicago] Bulls, Lakers, [and San Antonio] Spurs, among others.”Jordan Hill projects to start at center for the team this season, backed up by Robert Sacre and Ed Davis. Power forward Carlos Boozer may also get time at the five."

Hollins probably wouldn’t see a lot of time if he inks with the Lakers but would provide solid depth in the frontcourt.

Last season, Hollins averaged 2.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game in 7.9 minutes per game for the Los Angeles Clippers while shooting 73.6% from the field (on just 1.2 attempts per game) and 62.5% from the free throw line. In his eight-year NBA career, the former UCLA Bruin has played for the Clippers, Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets), Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics. The 50th-overall pick in the second round has put up 3.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 57.6% from the floor and 65.7% from the charity stripe in his career.
