This past Sunday was a brutal one for the NFL has a rash of injuries claimed some of the top stars in the game as no team was safe from the slew of injuries.

More from New Orleans Saints

One team that suffered a pretty bad blow was the New Orleans Saints. Not only did the team lose to the Cleveland Browns, but running back Mark Ingram is going to miss a month with a hand injury he suffered in the loss.

According to two reports from Mike Garaflolo from Fox Sports and Adam Schefter from ESPN, Ingram will miss at least a month meaning the Saints will need to adjust even more to get ot of their 0-2 hole.

Ingram was finally starting to get the opportunity to emerge as a top back in the NFL as ever since being drafted out of Alabama, he was held back by being in a running back committee. With Darren Sproles and Chris Ivory gone, Ingram was in line for major production this year, but that will now once again fall on Pierre Thomas.
