The latest unfortunate twist in Adrian Peterson’s child abuse case came courtesy of KHOU Houston, who revealed on Monday that Peterson was being investigated for abusing a different son than the one he beat with a switch that led to his deactivation by the Minnesota Vikings for Week 2.
KHOU has now revealed more details about this second abuse investigation, according to Seth Kaplan of Fox Sports in Minnesota.

The big takeaway is that this "new" case can be used as evidence in the current investigation. Could hurt his case, shows pattern.

As Kaplan notes, all this new information can do is hurt Peterson’s cause in his current fight against child abuse charges.
Peterson was reinstated by the Vikings on Monday, but one has to think they might reverse course after this new information has gone public. Peterson apologized for his actions with the first abuse charge on Monday.
He has yet to comment on this new investigation.
The Vikings drafted Peterson with the No. 7 pick of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma.
