Report: Panthers DE Greg Hardy to rejoin team on Monday
By Jack Crosby
The Carolina Panthers moved to 2-0 on the NFL season on Sunday with a 24-7 win over the Detroit Lions, and they were able to do so without the services of defensive end Greg Hardy, who was a late inactive for the game following the uproar over his domestic abuse case. Well, the team apparently won’e be without him for long.

According to NFL.com’s Albert Breer, Hardy will be rejoining the team on Monday when they return to work, which has a lot of people scratching their heads and a little upset.
Panthers head coach Ron Rivera, when asked about the inactivation of Hardy on Sunday said that the team needed to get things right.
“We have to go through a very difficult process and he has to go through one, as do other people, as well,” Rivera said. “This is a very serious situation and set of circumstances. We are going to work things out, and, hopefully, we get it right.”
This is where the people have the problem with Hardy returning to the team one day after he was inactive for the game against Detroit. Many are now asking what the whole point was of deactivating him in the first place for Sunday, if he was only going to rejoin the team this soon.
We’ll probably hear more from Rivera and Panthers management about this decision throughout the week, whether it makes sense or not.
