The Atlanta Braves will be moving into a new home in Cobb County in spring 2017, and on Tuesday the team unveiled the ballpark’s name and gave us a first look at this glorious new facility.

Sadly, the Braves did not go with Bob Horner Nimble Fat Man Field. Or my other suggestion Jane Fonda Is a Communist Memorial Stadium.
The new facility will instead be named SunTrust Park, just because some corporation paid a bunch of money to have their stupid name slapped everywhere.
Boo.
A few thoughts on the artist’s rendering of the ballpark:
- Lots of trees.
- Big A in the outfield looks terrific.
- Appears there should be plenty of seats for fat Braves fans to sit in.
- I like the way they have an infield and an outfield. It’s important that your baseball park have both of those things.
- I don’t know what that white building is on the left hand side but it could very well be a jail.
- This will be a great place to hole up for awhile after the zombies attack, until the Governor shows up and ruins everything.
Nice park Barves.
