Dallas Cowboys excited for Orlando Scandrick’s return
By Wes Goldberg
Once the league and players union officially agree, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick will be one of the players to benefit from the NFL’s new drug policy. Scandrick has missed the first two game of the season as part of a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drug policy but will return immediately.

According to Todd Archer of ESPN.com, the Cowboys’ confident is high following the team’s 26-10 win over the Tennessee Titans Sunday.
"“In the secondary right now, guys are playing pretty well,” cornerback Brandon Carr said. “With Scandrick, he’s going to fit easily back into the puzzle as far as our chemistry on the back end. He’s that guy that has a chip on his shoulder. I know he’s going to come back ready to prove some things to us and to the rest of the world. I’m ready for him to come back, man, just get him back into the flow of things. We want all of our pieces up when it’s time to go to war. We’ll be happy to get that guy back.”"
I’m not quite sure why the players are so pumped up. The Cowboys could use Scandrick ‘s presence, having given up232 passing yards to Jake Locker and the Titans despite the win. In Scandrick’s place opposite Carr has been Morris Claiborne, who has struggled his first few seasons in the NFL since being selected in the first round of the draft.
Scandrick was the Cowboys’ best corner last season. Not returning from last year is pass rusher DeMarcus Ware, which will make the jobs of everyone in the secondary that much more difficult.
