Backlash over the child abuse incident involving Adrian Peterson and the NFL’s handling of the Ray Rice domestic abuse situation is still rolling in. Radisson suspended their sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings, meanwhile Anheuser-Busch issued a strong statement to the NFL.
The Vikings were applauded for deactivating Peterson and then reinstated him on Monday, drumming up backlash of their own. Nike, the NFL’s official uniform provider, has removed his jersey from stores in the Twin Cities area.
An eye-opening development: Nike stores in Twin Cities have pulled all Adrian Peterson merch from shelves. Nike.
