The summer camp circuit has concluded, the high school exhibition season has ended, and college classes are in session. That means  right now is a perfect time to release another mock draft with updated rankings.

Again, I will note how early it is to do this. We’re now under two months away from the NCAA season starting, and the summer camps have given us some reason to shuffle our initial rankings, which can be found here.

One of the biggest movers on the board is undoubtedly Michigan shooting guard Caris LeVert, who was the winner of this offseason’s #MUSCLEWATCH. When LeVert stepped foot in Ann Arbor for the first time in 2012, he was a scrawny 6’5, 165 pound recruiting afterthought, a late signee to Michigan’s recruiting class. When he leaves it after either his junior or senior season, he will depart as a 6’7, 200 pound offensive dynamo that can now physically compete on the NBA level. Michigan coach John Beilein has done wonders for his game and body, and it will reflect in his draft position.

As one shooting guard rose, another fell. I chronicled Marc Garcia’s problems in the early parts of the FIBA U18 Tournament earlier this summer. While Garcia’s performance rebounded a bit in the latter part of the tournament, a lot of the problems I noticed were still on display, including the problematic shot selection and lack of explosive athleticism. I’ve moved him out of my top 30 for now, as I think he’d probably be better off waiting a year before declaring for the draft.

Other movers to look for included Kelly Oubre, mostly due to the overall dearth of high-end talent in the middle of the first round; Norman Powell, who enters the board; and Wayne Selden, with Oubre’s rise.

In the previous edition of the board, I gave a quick scouting report on each player. For this big board, instead of enumerating each player’s biggest strengths, I’m going to discuss the one thing that they most need to improve upon in order to solidify their stock heading into the 2014-15 season for the 2015 draft.
