4) AFC West

The AFC West is the “haves versus the have nots” division.

Both Denver and San Diego have been impressive at times during the first two weeks, and the majority of people pegged each for a playoff spot prior to the 2014 season. The Broncos are 2-0 with a bullet after surviving a late challenge by the Kansas City Chiefs, but no one has any real concern about Peyton Manning and the offense, with the defensive talent undergoing a major upgrade in the off-season. At the same time, the Chargers just upended the defending champion Seattle Seahawks for arguably the best win of the young season, and that came after a competitive loss in Arizona.

Then, of course, you have the Chiefs and Raiders. Kansas City is probably better than their 0-2 mark, but the regression monster has stung the Chiefs in a big way, and now, Jamaal Charles has a health issue that could take their lone offensive weapon off the field for a significant batch of time. Oakland is ghastly in basically every way, and even with Derek Carr providing a ray of hope toward the future, the Raiders will be lucky to win 5 games this season at this pace.
