Greg Hardy legal team tried pushing back court case to 2015
By Josh Hill
The Carolina Panthers are in a bit of a bind when it comes to Greg Hardy as the defensive end is in the middle of a domestic violence case but has already played a game this season.

Needless to say, following the Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson situations, Hardy has been placed on the exempt list and will no longer be playing this season as long as the Panthers say so. Before this paid suspension of sorts was agreed upon, Hardy’s legal team apparently pondered pushing his domestic violence into 2015 as to allow Hardy to play this season.
Just the very fact that this was even discussed is incredible, as it’s clear that the priorities of these players in trouble are out of whack. From Adrian Peterson’s largely non-apologetic stance on hitting his son to Ray Rice’s weird press conference back in the winter when he sounded like he was the victim in the abuse case involving his now-wife, Hardy wanting to push this legal matter into next year to play a game of football is just unfathomable.
