Tampa Bay Buccaneers expect Gerald McCoy back in Week 4
By Josh Hill
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still hunting for their first win of the season and if it’s to come tonight against the Atlanta Falcons, it’s going to have to come without the help of Gerald McCoy.

McCoy broke his hand in the Buccaneers loss to the St. Louis Rams this past Sunday but there was hope that he’d be ready to come back this week. The quick turnaround from Sunday to Thursday — coupled with the broken bone in his hand — is forcing McCoy to have to sit out tonight’s primetime contest.
According to Jason La Canfora from CBS Sports though, McCoy won’t be out long as he’s expected back in Week 4.
The Lovie Smith era for the Bucs was supposed to go a lot smoother than this and the 0-2 start to the season has sort of taken fans out of what was a hopeful offseason. There’s still a chance to turn things around though but not having a key cog like McCoy against a high flying offense like Atlanta’s might mean the Bucs first win will have to wait until Week 4.
