Dez Bryant: ‘DeMarco Murray has turned into straight beast mode’
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has taken the NFL by storm so far this season, running with a purpose and leading all backs in terms of yardage heading into Week 3.

Murray has tallied 51 rushes for 285 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys first two games of the season, and he plans on continuing that impressive output against the St. Louis Rams this weekend.
Pro-Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant has kept a keen eye on Murray since the start of training camp, and he expects Murray to not only continue to produce, but play even better moving forward.
“DeMarco has turned into straight beast mode,” Bryant told the Star Telegram earlier this week. “I know that’s exactly what he’s going to keep doing. He’s going to keep building on the positive, and we’re just going to be there, continue to keep making our blocks and when our number is called, we’re going to go out there and make the plays the best way we can.”
Expect Murray’s number to be called upon quite a bit this Sunday against the Rams, as Murray’s best career games came against that very team over the last several seasons.
In two games against the Rams in the last three seasons, Murray has rushed for a combined 428 yards. With that unbelievable output, Murray will look to continue his hot streak and help the Cowboys win their second game of the season.
