The rising salaries being shelled out to NFL players has resulted in 20 players receiving a base salary of at least $10 million to play in the league this season and nine of the top 25 paid players in the NFL this season are quarterbacks, which may not be a surprise.
However, what may be a surprise is which quarterbacks are cashing checks bigger than their Super Bowl-winning contemporaries, including two signal-callers who have combined to make zero Pro Bowl teams since 2009.
After quarterback, wide receiver was the position with the most players on the list with four, linebacker and defensive tackle had three, defensive end and offensive tackle had two and running back and center each had one.
