There are a lot of people that are anxiously awaiting the return of former Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett to WWE following his shoulder injury he suffered earlier this summer. Depending on who you poll, there are probably more people waiting to see Barrett come back than there are wanting to see John Cena every Monday.

Whatever the case may be, one thing is for certain, the two men do not like each other.
In a recent interview with DNA India, Barrett revealed a little bit about the relationship between he and Cena behind the scenes and he pulled no punches early on in letting them know that the two aren’t exactly best friends.
"“He has been the face for ten years, and he’s really good at what he does. But everyone knows that I don’t like John Cena, and he doesn’t like me either. You’re right, he does get booed by a lot of fans, lot of people don’t like him. But he sells a lot more t-shirts and other merchandise than anyone else. So there are a lot of people out there who like him too. Either way everyone has an opinion about him, I respect that. Personally I don’t like him and he doesn’t like me, we are not friends.”"
Well now this is an interesting tidbit to learn. Now we’ve heard former stars come out and say that they think less than kindly about Cena, but this is one of the first of current stars we are hearing from that aren’t too fond of the face of the company.
Could this maybe explain why Barrett’s initial push as the leader of the Nexus was brought to a screeching halt? Just thinking out loud here.
