Adrian Peterson jerseys on 70 percent off rack in Minnesota store
By Josh Hill
If you thought the recent roasting of Roger Goodell and Baltimore Ravens in the form of that Outside the Lines report drew attention away from Adrian Peterson, you couldn’t be more wrong. Vikings fans in Minnesota are still neck deep in the Peterson child abuse scandal and his merchandise keeps taking a hit in local stores.

Nike announced last week that it was pulling his jerseys from their stores in the Twin Cities area, including at the massive Nike store inside Mall of America. This week the Peterson jerseys still floating around on the market are ending up in clearance racks as no one wants to touch the toxic jersey.
As passed along by Marcus Honcharenko on Twitter, one store in Minnesota has put Adrian Peterson’s jersey on their 70 percent off rack.
What this signifies is that the market realizes what is going on. Peterson isn’t just on the exempt list for the time being, he’s likely played his last down with the Minnesota Vikings. His legal team is trying to finish up business down in Houston with the child abuse charges but up in Minnesota it may be time to let Peterson go.
There was already talk of the Vikings cutting Peterson this upcoming offseason to save cap space and if they needed a reason before, they have it now.
