Courtney Upshaw is the latest member of the Baltimore Ravens defense to be fined. After Terrell Suggs was fined for wearing a gladiator helmet during pre-game introductions, it was announced that Upshaw was fined $16,000 for a hit on Ben Roethlisberger, via CBS Baltimore.

Upshaw was penalized 15-yards on the play.

Here is a look at the play that led to Upshaw’s fine.

When you see the hit, it certainly doesn’t look like anything deserving of a $16,000 fine but the NFL decided it was. Of course, Upshaw plans to appeal the fine.
