When they signed him, the Warriors didn’t know that Livingston was going to need surgery but that ended up being the outcome to his issue with his toe. Now that the toe is fixed, there is still no return date pegged for Livingston to make his debut with the Warriors this season.
The Warriors are about uncertain when @ShaunLivingston will return from toe surgery. @fezzyfel is on pace to return early in training camp.

When the surgery happened, it was looking like the maximum time needed to heal the toe would be 8 weeks which placed Livingston’s return date in the middle of October. But that’s just when the healing process was done and doesn’t account for time needing to be spent learning to play on the surgically repaired toe. .
He will play this season for the Dubs, but Livingston may not be ready to go until later on in November as the dubs would rather play it safe than be sorry with their free agent acquisition.
