NFL ‘very much’ wants team in London, confident that fans do as well
By Hayden Kane
Far be it for me to offer this kind of advice as an outsider, but maybe the National Football League should tend to their issues stateside before they revisit this whole “European expansion” idea.

September has been one of the worst months in NFL history. Between the Ray Rice domestic violence case, the Adrian Peterson child abuse case, and the NFL’s astounding ignorance in handling all of those issues, the league is losing the trust of its fans and sponsors while operating with a commissioner in Roger Goodell whom everybody believes should be fired.
The NFL still has a long, long way to go when it comes to dealing those issues, not to mention the fact that they never know when the next piece of bad news will drop. You would think, then, that the league might pump the brakes on the nonsensical agenda item that is “get a team in London.”
Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports that even with everything that is happening, the NFL still ‘very much’ wants a team in London. Not only that, but the league believes that fans support that desire.
One presumes that the primary motivation to add a team in London, and thereby increase international exposure of the game, is money. Money money money. This is a league that is destroying itself because it always follows the money, and yet here they are, continuing to pursue a team in London because it would be good for revenue when their focus should be elsewhere.
