Arian Foster unlikely to play vs. New York Giants
By Josh Hill
The Houston Texans are going for their third win of the season this Sunday but they’re going to likely have to do it without running back Arian Foster on the field. After carrying a massive workload in the first two games of the year, the Texans will likely be without Foster when they take on the New York Giants this Sunday.

What this means is backup Alfred Blue will be getting a lot of love from the Texans offense and fantasy football owners this afternoon.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that while Foster isn’t out yet, he’s a long shot to play against the Giants.
Foster was once a Pro Bowl back and may still be, but he can’t handle the workloads that the Texans are giving him each Sunday. This makes him about as fragile as the aged Maurice Jones-Drew, which is bad news for the Texans and discouraging for Foster.
He may still play, but the workload already catching up to him is not a positive sign for the longevity of Foster’s career.
