Austin Davis 51-yard TD leads Rams 14-0 over Dallas
Austin Davis looks like he was the right one to start for St. Louis in their matchup against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday. Davis, the third string quarterback behind Sam Bradford (out for the season) and Shaun Hill, led the Rams to a 19-17 victory over Tampa Bay and now is helping the Rams lead Dallas 14-0 early in the second quarter.

On his first drive, Davis was able to find tight end Lance Kendricks for a touchdown, this time he found wide-out Brian Quick for a 51-yard bomb.
After a fumble recovery by the Rams defense, it took Davis and the Rams just five plays to get back into the end zone before Davis was able to find Quick.
This gave St. Louis a 14-0 lead over the Cowboys, who came into the game as the favorite.
Inactive for the Rams is Tavon Austin, possibly the Rams best player on offense. Austin suffered a knee injury in last weeks win against the Bucs, but he may not be missed Sunday after having zero receptions last week and being the target just once.
Brian Quick will came in to replace Austin at the WR1 position. Quick led the Rams in receiving last Sunday with 7 catches for 74 yards. Now, he’s leading St. Louis in receiving again after catching a 51-yard touchdown pass.
