Brandon LaFell ‘frustrated as hell’ with Patriots offensive role
By Josh Sanchez
Brandon LaFell is frustrated as hell. No, that’s not a Dr. Seuss rhyme, it is the New England Patriots wide receiver’s thoughts on his role in the team’s offense.

While speaking with the Boston Globe, LaFell expressed his frustrations through two weeks of the regular season.
Being a wide receiver, LaFell’s goal is to catch passes.
That is obviously how he can help his team from the outside, but the New England offense has used the wide receiver more in a blocking role and he couldn’t hold back his unhappiness any longer.
“I’m frustrated as hell, man,” LaFell said, via the Boston Globe. “I want to catch passes like every other guy in here, like every receiver around the league. But the game plan is not for me to catch, it’s to block. So that’s what I’ve got to do.”
Considering LaFell has only been targeted six times in two weeks, it is easy to see why he would be a bit frustrated.
Unfortunately, his role likely will not be changing anytime soon.
