After being embarrassed in the final game of last season that led to the Seahawks becoming NFL champions, the Broncos have been waiting for their shot at redemption in a meaningful game.
That opportunity comes on Sunday, with the Broncos entering the game undefeated and Seattle trying to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the San Diego Chargers in Week 2.
While the two teams met in the preseason, this time the game will count on their records.
“I’m sure this is a really important game to them again. As it is to us,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said, via ESPN.com. “I think there was something going on in the preseason. I think it was a big deal for them. I don’t blame them one bit.”
