While Missouri suffered a 31-24 loss to a lesser Indiana in week four, they still don’t have any conference losses like South Carolina does, who has already played three SEC games including a huge loss to Texas A&M in week one, a huge win over Georgia in week three and a narrow escape win against Vanderbilt in week four.
Mizzou struggled against an Indiana team that lost to Bowling Green 45-42 in week three and took the loss and defensive and offensive struggles against a weak Indiana defense. Mizzou’s poor defensive performance broke their 47-game streak of forcing a turnover that went all the way back to Oct. 30, 2010 when they were still in the Big 12.
Missouri failed to force a turnover for the 1st time in 47 games (Oct. 30, 2010 at Neb). #IUvsMIZZ

This game will be huge for the SEC East. Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky and Vanderbilt have all suffered conference losses already.
Tennessee and Missouri have yet to play a conference game but Mizzou will be put to the test against a much-improved South Carolina team.
If Mizzou wins, we could see the GameDay crew head back to Columbia, MO for a Georgia-Mizzou match up in two weeks.
