Cowboys vs Rams inactives: Rams QBs active, Tavon Austin inactive
The St. Louis Rams come into the game against the Dallas Cowboys at 1-1. While the Rams, on paper, are one of the worst teams in the NFL, they were able to get the job done against maybe the worst team in the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Rams were led by former third string quarterback Austin Davis to the 19-17 victory over Tampa Bay.

Now, second string quarterback Shaun Hill is active again after injuring his thigh in week one against the Minnesota Vikings. The Rams are dealing with setbacks at quarterback due to Sam Bradford’s season-ending ACL tear in a preseason game against the Cleveland Browns.
While Hill is active, Austin Davis is expected to get the start. In the Rams win against the Bucs last Sunday and Austin Davis’ first start in the NFL, he went an impressive 22-for-29 with 235 yards.
Davis was hitting his targets and stepping up when the Rams needed it and that’s why he’ll probably be starting for St. Louis against Dallas.
Inactive for the Rams is Tavon Austin, possibly the Rams best player on offense. Austin suffered a knee injury in last weeks win against the Bucs, but he may not be missed Sunday after having zero receptions last week and being the target just once.
Brian Quick will come in to replace Austin at the WR1 position. Quick led the Rams in receiving Sunday with 7 catches for 74 yards. If Davis and Quick can pick up where they left off, Dallas could be in trouble.
Also inactive for St. Louis: SS Maurice Alexander, CB Trumaine Johnson, OG Barrett Jones, QB Case Keenum, RB Tre Mason, CB Brandon McGee. Active for St. Louis is QB Shaun Hill, TE Cory Harkley, G Rodger Saffold and C Scott Wells.
