Dallas Cowboys defense better than Seattle Seahawks? Yes, statistically

The Dallas Cowboys defense is terrible. They are going to keep the team from making the playoffs. The Dallas Cowboys defense may just be the worst defense we have ever seen in NFL history.

Now, let’s go to the opposite end of the spectrum.
The Seattle Seahawks are one of the best defenses of all time. Richard Sherman and the Legion of Boom are as good as it gets. There is no way you can pick apart the Seattle Seahawks defense.
Well, what would you do if I told you that the Dallas Cowboys defense is actually better than the Seahawks’ through the first two games of the regular season?
During NFL GameDay Morning on the NFL Network, a surprising graphic was passed along.
Other than giving up half of a yard more than the Seahawks per game, the Cowboys defense is the statistically better unit. Dallas allows few points, hold opposing quarterbacks to a lower passer rating and has more takeaways.
Who would have guessed?
Here’s the proof.
Now does this mean the Cowboys defense is actually better than the Seahawks? Obviously not.
Sorry Jemele Hill and Michael Smith, but sometimes the numbers do lie.
