The Washington Redskins don’t seem to be missing Robert Griffin III too much. Luckily for Washington, former Eagles wide receiver Desean Jackson was active and ready to play against his former team Sunday. Kirk Cousins is in at quarterback for Washington and has been impressive so far scoring on their first possession.

It was an 11-play, 82-yard drive that ended in seven points for the Redskins. Cousins started the drive with a 19-yard completion to Pierre Garcon. An unnecessary roughness penalty also helped Washington when Philadelphia’s Nate Allen laid a late hit on his former teammate Jackson, leading to a shoving match.
After Alfred Morris set up the Redskins, Cousins was able to find Darrel Young for a 4-yard touchdown pass to complete the touchdown drive that took 6:18 off the clock.
Washington has a 1-1 record this season after a tough loss to Houston in week one and a blow out over the Jaguars in week two led by Kirk Cousins, wh0 took over for Robert Griffin III after an ankle injury sent him out of the game.
Philadelphia will hope to get a victory over Desean Jackson who was released from the team after he reportedly had gang ties. Clearly the bad blood is already brewing in this one.
