If the Chicago Bears are to beat the New York Jets on Monday, they’ll have to do so through the air, given New York’s strong run defense.

More from Chicago Bears

Thankfully for the Bears, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, both listed as questionable, are good to go for the Week 3 tilt, according to ESPN Chicago’s Jeff Dickerson.

Marshall has been flat-out dominant to start the season, so expect quarterback Jay Cutler to rely on him heavily. Marshall has 13 catches for 119 yards and a whopping four touchdowns through two games.

Jeffery has been quieter, catching eight balls for 118 yards and no touchdowns, but an outstanding athlete at 6’3″, he has the potential to be a game-changer.

The Bears drafted Jeffery with the No. 75 pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. He broke out this past season, catching 89 passes for 1,421 yards and seven touchdowns.

Chicago traded with the Miami Dolphins for Marshall prior to the 2012 NFL season. He posted back-to-back 1,000 yard receiving seasons in his first two years with the team. Last season he caught 100 passes for 1,295 yards and 12 scores.

With a victory, Chicago (1-1) would move to a tie atop the NFC North with the Detroit Lions (2-1).
