Lance Stephenson has been a busy man this summer. After a breakout season with the Indiana Pacers, in which he averaged 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, Stephenson was rewarded handsomely with a three-year contract worth $27 million, courtesy of the up-and-coming Charlotte Hornets.

Naturally, when someone signs a contract of that magnitude, a lot of work has to go into living up to it. But in his downtime, when he hasn’t been working hard to get ready for next season, Stephenson has been in the booth, working on his next career as a rapper. And his first single (which will remain nameless in this thread for good reason) dropped at the end of last month.

If that wasn’t good enough, though, Stephenson has now graced us with a music video, which is basically just of him playing some basketball, working out, and dancing around with some of his friends in a dark parking lot because…well, yeah.

Earlier in the month, Stephenson also posted a behind the scenes look of the making of his music video.

The best part of it all is Stephenson wearing a throwback Hornets hat to go along with a Larry Johnson jersey. And after seeing the video, this picture he posted on Instagram at the start of the month makes a lot more sense.

Never change, Lance. Never change.
