Memphis Grizzlies to Give Out Z-Bow Ties, Wrestling Belts

First and foremost, I’m a “Zeebo” purist when it comes to Memphis Grizzlies big man Zach Randolph. The man’s nickname comes from the character “Deebo” in the movie Friday. Deebo = Zeebo, not Z-Bo. There is, however, an exception to the Zeebo Rule, and that’s Z-BOW TIES! Courtesy of Chris Vernon:

Call him Z-Bo, call him Zeebo, call him Z-Bow, it doesn’t really matter as long as there are Z-Bow ties involved. That’ll be right as the Grizzlies are making a playoff push toward the end of the season, too, which means that if Memphis can qualify for the postseason, we’ll likely see a ton of Z-Bow ties once the playoffs roll around.

That’s not the only amazing giveaway the Grizzlies are doing this year, though; they’ll be distributing Memphis Grizzlies wrestling championship belts, as well.

Memphis is rasslin’ territory, and the Grizzlies have fully embraced that aspect of the region. They’re also not above throwing a bit of shade at an opponent with a giveaway:

Get it? Because Chris Paul flops a lot. And because Los Angeles is beach weather, if you want to go with the generous interpretation, I suppose.
