Another Saturday is gone, which means more upsets, which means a few shake ups in the top 25.

Here is my top 25 prior to week 5:
1. Oregon: Very easily could have lost to Washington State had they been flagged for the pass interference that should have been called with 2 minutes left.
2. Auburn: Send a thank you note to Jack Cantele, the Kansas State Kicker
3. Florida State: Oh, Clemson! That one is going to sting a while. Probably worse than the beatdown at home last year.
4. Alabama: Can anyone guard Amari Cooper?
5. Oklahoma: Good road win, but Bama’s domination of Florida looked better. It’s time to start looking at this year and not last year.
6. Texas A&M: They might have to kick of the cruise this week against Arkansas.
7. Baylor: The next two games may be trap games.
8. Mississippi State: They beat LSU. In Baton Rouge. AT NIGHT! Honestly, I could put them higher.
9. Mississippi: This could be the most entertaining Egg Bowl in decades, but I’m getting a little ahead of myself.
10. Michigan State: Only here because of the Cocks’ struggle with Vandy.
11. South Carolina: If nothing else, the Commodores exposed a couple of glaring weaknesses.
12. Georgia: Yes, they lost to South Carolina, but they are still looking like the better team week in and week out.
13. Notre Dame: Now the schedule starts getting tough.
14. UCLA: I screwed up last week putting USC ahead of them.
15. USC: The Stanford win is the only thing keeping them here.
16. Wisconsin:They do have a better loss than USC, but not a better win
17. Stanford: Is it me, or does anyone outside of the top nine seem interchangeable?
18. Arizona State: A big prove-it game against UCLA coming up.
19. LSU: This is a young team that could improve a lot in a couple of months.
20. BYU: Their toughest remaining game might be Cal. Ugh!
21. Nebraska: Impressive win over Miami.
22. East Carolina: When will this team get some respect?
23. Ohio State: Newcomers Maryland and Rutgers could give them a huge fight if they don’t get their offense figured out.
24. Oklahoma State: They have Big 12(10) sleeper written all over them.
25. Duke: Don’t be surprised if they win the Coastal again.
Out of rankings: (20)Clemson, (21)Kansas State, (23)Missouri
Honorable Mention: Clemson, Penn State, Oregon State, Utah, Washington
