It’s not a secret that many former players still enjoy watching Major League Baseball. Former New York Yankees outfielder Willie Randoph still frequents the stadiums where he used to play, and supports his former team in a big way as often as he can.

Randolph, a former Yankee captain and six-time all-star, was sitting behind home plate in Yankee Stadium as the current Bronx Bombers faced the Baltimore Orioles, and caught a foul ball during the game. If New York needs someone to catch pop-ups, Randolph might not be a bad one to call.

Yup, that’s the 60-year old Randolph making the snag away from a Yankee fan, and he seems pretty pumped about catching the ball. It seems like an odd thing for an 18-year MLB veteran to be excited over, as he’s caught tons of pop-ups in his career, but hey, maybe he’s never caught a foul ball as a fan?
Randolph is no stranger to hamming it up for the camera in his post-playing days, as he had a pretty awesome photobomb to get Yankees manager Joe Girardi back in March. You just never know where Willie Randolph will pop up next.
