2) AFC North

The Cincinnati Bengals have the best pure resume in football, and it is entirely possible that the team that employs Andy Dalton as its quarterback is the best squad in the AFC. Marinate on that for a moment.

Okay. The Bengals are 3-0 with an impressive non-division win against Atlanta, and after a dominant performance against Tennessee over the weekend, they carry the flag as the best team of this group. However, Cincinnati was not the only team to make significant strides with regard to their overall body of work, as the Pittsburgh Steelers went into Charlotte and thrashed the previously blemish-less Panthers. That win improved the Steelers to 2-1 on the season, but more importantly, it erased the dreadful image of their Thursday evening nightmare against Baltimore.

Speaking of Baltimore, the Ravens also grabbed a victory this weekend, giving the AFC North a 3-1 mark, and considering their win came on the road against Cleveland, the Browns suffered the least damaging loss imaginable from a division perspective. Cleveland has been relatively impressive, especially given their original talent level coupled with the Ben Tate injury and the Josh Gordon suspension, and they are a highly respectable 1-2 with a big win over New Orleans.
