In an SEC west showdown, Arkansas looks to improve to 4-1 on the season and pick up their first conference win under Bret Bielema as they head to AT&T Stadium in Arlington to take on Kenny Hill and the high-powered offense of Texas A&M as the Aggies look to improve to 5-0 on the season.

Keys to Victory

This game will feature a clash of styles on offense as Arkansas features the nation’s No. 8 rushing attack on the strength of Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams while Texas A&M boasts the nation’s No. 4 passing attack behind the right arm of Hill who has inserted himself in the middle of the Heisman Trophy conversation in the season’s first month.

Both teams will be able to score and score plenty as this is a matchup between the No. 3 scoring offense of Arkansas and the No. 2 scoring offense of A&M. The team with the ball last could be the winner in this game.

Betting Odds

Point spread:  Texas A&M -8

Prediction

The scoreboard operators will be busy on Saturday with Collins and Williams running wild against the A&M front seven that is allowing 124.75 yards per game this season and each back could top the 100-yard plateau and combine to score two-four touchdowns apiece. Arkansas has a quick-strike offense that leads the nation with 10 touchdown drives of one minute or less, three plays of fewer with 12 and one-play touchdown drives with seven.

However, the Hogs pass defense can leave a lot to be desired and with the No. 71 ranked pass defense against Hill and the array of weapons he has at hit disposal could spell trouble for Arkansas in AT&T Stadium on Saturday. Hill has been outstanding as he has replaced Johnny Manziel and taken the offense to a whole new level with his passing prowess.

I think the Hogs keep it close through three quarters with their running backs doing the heavy lifting but Hill and the Aggies pull away in the fourth quarter to win a game that is much closer than many would have imagined.

Final Score: Razorbacks: 38, Aggies: 48
