Keys to Victory
On paper, Washington has the clear advantage. The Redskins have No. 2 ranked offense in the league, with the third-ranked passing attack and ninth-ranked rushing attack. On defense the Redskins check in with the fourth-ranked unit, led by the No. 3 rush defense and No. 10 pass defense in the league. The Giants rank no higher than 13th in any of the categories.
However, the Giants are coming into the game with momentum following last week.
For the Giants, it will be key to keep Kirk Cousins and the Redskins passing game in check, so they can avoid the quick strikes that could put the game away early. If New York is able to make it an uglier game, they will have a chance down the final stretch to put things away. The Giants will also have to test the Redskins secondary which is now without DeAngelo Hall.

Prediction
Washington has a lengthy injury report coming in to Thursday night’ game and the Giants receiving corp seems to be ready to approach the game with their normal rotation. The Giants should be able to break one or two big plays down the field in the passing game which could be the big difference on the scoreboard when the final whistle blows.
Final Score: Giants 27, Redskins 21
