Louisiana Tech Bulldogs vs. Auburn Tigers
Auburn Tigers did not have the resounding victory that they expected against Kansas State last Thursday when they won by less than a touchdown 20-14. But now, Gus Malzahn and his SEC super power house head back to Jordan-Hare Stadium where the Tigers are 2-0 this season posting big victories including a 45-21 win over Arkansas. The Tigers shouldn’t have much to worry about with a struggling Louisiana Tech team traveling to Auburn coming off of a humiliating loss.

Keys to Victory
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs nodded two straight victories after a loss to Oklahoma in week one. But, just last week fell 30-27 Northwestern State, an FCS school in demoralizing fashion. This loss for the Bulldogs only shows their weakness and the Auburn Tigers should jump all over that. If Louisiana Tech has any shot at winning this game, they’re going to need to use their loss last week as fuel for the fight against Auburn, but right now it’s not looking too pretty.
This should be another walk in the park, out of conference game for fifth-ranked Auburn. Auburn needs to play with the knowledge that they can be beat, so that they play with a harder edge. Last weeks near loss to Kansas State was evidence of that. Winning 20-14 wasn’t saying much considering Kansas State missed three field goals. Auburn’s offense needs to show up ready to go Saturday.

Auburn should just walk right through this game even if their offense struggles. Their defense is strong enough to keep them in the game, and it should only take a couple touchdowns to beat Louisiana Tech. But, Auburn’s mindset going in needs to be on this game and not looking forward to next week’s contest against conference rival LSU.
