All signs point to Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson playing tonight against the New York Giants, according to Ian Rapoport
#Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (shoulder) is expected to play tonight vs #Giants, I’m told. Will test it pregame to be sure.

Jackson has been limited in practice this week with the injury, but the Giants should plan on having their longtime nemesis in uniform. In 11 career games against the Giants, Jackson has 50 catches for 831 yards and four touchdowns. He has also ran for a touchdown against the Giants, and returned two punts for touchdowns.

It’s safe to say that the Giants have had trouble with DeSean Jackson throughout his career. Now it looks as though they will have to deal with him again, though he is in a new uniform.
Being a part of the Redskins might actually help Jackson against the Giants. Kirk Cousins looks good in this offensive scheme, and Jackson is also starting to feel comfortable in it as he showed last week with five catches for 117 yards and a touchdown.
Cousins threw for 427 yards last week. It also seems like him and Jackson are on the same page, which can make a huge difference.
Although 81 of those yards came on one play, it shows that Jackson is still a threat to score any time he touches the ball.
The Redskins will need Jackson against an improving Giants defense. And with the loss of cornerback DeAngelo Hall for the season, the Redskins defense could give up some big plays as they learn to adjust to life without him. They will need Jackson and the offense to help them keep up.
