The Oakland Raiders are looking for their first win of the season this year and they’re not going to be able to get any help from one of their biggest free agent additions.

Maurice Jones-Drew is struggling to stay healthy which means that another Raiders back who has had his struggles in that department. Darren McFadden is in line to get his third start of the season, which is huge for the running back’s career.
According to Bill Williamson from ESPN.com, the Raiders are expected to lean on Darren McFadden to make his third straight start of the season.
"At running back, Oakland coach Dennis Allen told reporters in London on Friday that Darren McFadden is in line to make his third straight start, but Maurice Jones-Drew is probable to play for the first time since suffering a hand injury in Week 1. McFadden is getting the start based on more practice time."
McFadden is starting to prove his worth with the Raiders, which means big for his future. There have been questions about his durability and consistency over the years, but his starting three straight weeks is a shot of confidence to his system. McFadden isn’t lighting up the rushing stats, but he’s playing and right now that’s of crucial importance to his value in Oakland and around the NFL in a contract year.
