Eric Decker expected to play against Lions
Last week, Jets receiver Eric Decker left the game and did not return on Monday night against the Bears. Decker had a hamstring injury that kept him out and while he is now listed as questionable for Sunday, Jets coach Rex Ryan says he expects Decker to play.

Decker likely won’t be anywhere near 100 percent when he take the field against Detroit, and it would come as no shock if he was unable to play the entire game once again. According to Pro Football Talk Decker was limited in practice which led to him being listed as questionable before Rex stated that Decker will indeed play barring any major setback.
Without Decker, the Jets are amazingly thin at the wide receiver position and going up against a very good Lions front seven could be quite the task for Geno Smith if his number one target isn’t ready to go full strength on Sunday.
Decker hasn’t quite been what the Jets hoped he would be when they signed him this off season, and has one only touchdown in the first three weeks of the season. While he has only racked up a total of 156 yards in 2014 it will still be a major security blanket for his young quarterback to have him on the field. Decker has been battling injuries since last year and the New York offense will depend on him all year, for better or worse.
