St. Louis Rams

Things turned bad for the Rams when quarterback Sam Bradford was lost for the season. Things went from bad to worse when veteran sackmaster Chris Long suffered a multi-week injury.

Now it’s just a dire mess in the Gateway City.

I’ll say this for St. Louis: they’re competitive. They should have upset the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3, when third-string QB Austin Davis turned in a gutsy, impressive effort. But that’s also not saying much for Jeff Fisher, who may be running out of time as the team’s head man.

In the effort of fairness, the Rams likely won’t end up with the top draft pick. They do possess more talent than, say, the Raiders, and Fisher will have his club fighting for him each week.

Then again, never say never in the NFL.
