4. Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts

I was eleven when the Tennessee Titans unveiled their uniforms, and at the time I thought the dark blue / light blue combination was the coolest thing in sports. You have to remember, at the time we were right at the end of the “black for black’s sake” era of uniforms, where it seemed every team was adding the color black to the uniforms. Therefore, the Titans uniforms, while modern, were a breath of fresh air.

Today, the “double blue” combination of dark and light blue isn’t as unique, but the Titans still have a nice modern uniform. The helmet logo and stripes look a little dated at this point and could use an update, but the rest of the uniform has aged really well.

This week the Titans are matched up against one of the NFL’s classic uniforms, the Indianapolis Colts. Somehow, this is the Colts’ first appearance on this list.
